Vice President Mike Pence Calls out Joe Biden for Saying He Would "absolutely' Cut Funding for Law Enforcement

Press Release

Date: July 9, 2020
Issues: Elections

At a Back the Blue rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Vice President Mike Pence laid out how Joe Biden has turned his back on America's police officers while embracing the radical "defund the police" movement:

"I heard that just yesterday that Joe Biden said that well armed police, in his words, 'become the enemy.' And he said that he would 'absolutely' cut funding for law enforcement. So I want you to hear this directly from me: under this president and this administration, we are not going to defund the police. Not now, not ever."

The choice in this election could not be clearer: President Trump and Vice President Pence are committed to rebuilding and restoring our great nation, while Joe Biden and the radical left promise to undermine our safety and security.
